Large Ensembles:
Concert Band
Consists of all 90+ members of the band and performs for parades and special sporting events and some military events. The marching band does not require seating however depending on the location may need changing rooms for both male and female soldiers.

Ceremonial Band
Consists of 30 to 40 members of the band and plays music suitable for a military ceremony. The ceremonial band marches in parades and military ceremonies. This group requires no stands or chairs to be provided.

Stage (Big) Band
Consists of 20 members of the band. The Stage Band plays Big Band Jazz music of Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton, The Tonight Show Band, Count Baisie, Duke Ellington, & any Big Band music of the swing era. This group requires 20 chairs and music stands which they can provide if needed. This group also travels with a sound system, microphones and large speakers.

Small Ensembles:
Variety (Rock/Show) Band
Consists of 12 members of the band. The 122nd’s Variety Band plays Rock, Country, Motown, Blues, & Top 40 hits. This group travels with all of the equipment they need. This group travels with a sound system, large speakers, microphones & all the stage equipment a modern rock band needs.

Jazz Combo
Consists of 6 members of the band. The Jazz Combo is a small group capable of playing the best small combo jazz. They can play bebop, swing, fusion, jazz and is perfect for dinner music. This band can also transform to a small rock band playing some hits from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. This group also travels with a sound system, microphones and large speakers.

Brass Quintets (3)
Each consists of 5 members of the band. The brass quintets can provide music for a military ceremony where the entire band would be too large or too loud, or they can provide music for a dinner or religious occasion. The brass quintets play classical music, swing, jazz, and sacred music. These groups require 5 chairs each.

Woodwind Quintet
Consists of 5 members of the band. The woodwind quintet can provide music for a ceremony, dinner, or religious occasion. The woodwind quintet plays mostly classical music but can also play patriotic music or marches. This group requires 5 chairs and music stands.

Tuba Ensemble
Consists of 14 members of the band playing Tuba and Baritone. This is a special request ensemble and usually plays for the Tuba Christmas activities throughout Ohio. This band requires 14 chairs.
